Argentina Defeats Indonesia 2-0 in Friendly Match

Jakarta, Indonesia - The Argentina national team defeated the Indonesia national team 2-0 in a friendly match on Monday at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.

The world champions were without Lionel Messi, who was rested for the match, but they still had too much firepower for the Indonesians.

Leandro Paredes opened the scoring for Argentina in the 37th minute with a long-range strike that flew into the top corner of the net.

Christian Romero doubled the lead for Argentina in the 55th minute with a header from a corner.

Indonesia had a few chances to get back into the game, but they were unable to find the back of the net.

The win for Argentina was their second in a row on their tour of Asia. They had previously defeated Australia 2-1 on Friday.
